There he received a high school diploma,from South Ayden H.S. Afterwards, Boddy was drafted into the U.S.Army. He received a medical discharge in 1968. Bobby then moved to NYC. He received an certification as Machinist from BerkTrade school in Brooklyn, NY. Bobby worked in the Culinary Arts at Concerned Citizens of Sunset Park, as well as Mount Sinai and Flower Fifth ave Hospitals.
