Rita Verdoliva age 54 died the 22nd day of April, 2020. Rita was a resident of Staten Island since 1978. Born in L’Aquila, Italy on the 24th day of October, 1965 to her parents the late Antonio Colangeli and Angela Colangeli, present resident of Staten Island. At four months of age, Rita and her family made their journey to America to build their home in Brooklyn, N.Y.  Rita attended grammar school at the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Greenwood section of Brooklyn, N.Y. until 1978. The Colangeli family then moved to Grant City, Staten Island, N.Y. where Rita attended St. Christopher’s Elementary School. After graduation, she attended Countess Moore High School on Staten Island. She graduated in 1983 to go on to college at St. John’s University, to gain her degree in business.  She utilized that degree at various banking institutions
