Mauro ‘Mark’ Zulli, 84, of Boerum Hill passed peacefully in his home with his family by his side. A Brooklyn native, Mark attended Brooklyn College where he earned both Bachelors and Masters Degrees. He later joined the army and is a Korean War veteran. Mark was a loving man and well respected in his community. During his time as Boerum Hill Community president, Mark helped institute its landmark status, build and maintain its gardens, and establish community events. A perennial Brooklyn Museum member/contributor, founder and former treasurer of the Wyckoff-Bond Garden, Mark dedicated much of his time to the improvement of the community. With prior careers as Chemist, Accountant, Real Estate and Stock Broker, former Atlantic Avenue business owner and antiques dealer, Mark enjoyed a diverse and full life.
