Sheila Michaela Delaney Masefield, age 83, passed away at Calvary Hospital in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon August 23, 2020. She was the proud Brooklyn born daughter of Irish immigrants Mariah and James Delaney, and the youngest of their five children. Sheila had three brothers, all of whom served in WWII, and an older sister who dedicated her life to the church and to teaching hearing impaired and deaf children. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, filmmaker Joe Masefield, their five children, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Always the loving mother to James, Christopher, Megan, Joseph, and Michael. Their deep love for their mother was always evident in the laughter, fun, and embraces they shared over the years. Rita Verdoliva age 54 died the 22nd day of April, 2020. Rita was a resident of Staten Island since 1978. Born in L’Aquila, Italy on the 24th day of October, 1965 to her parents the late Antonio Colangeli and Angela Colangeli, present resident of Staten Island. At four months of age, Rita and her family made their journey to America to build their home in Brooklyn, N.Y.  Rita attended grammar school at the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Greenwood section of Brooklyn, N.Y. until 1978. The Colangeli family then moved to Grant City, Staten Island, N.Y. where Rita attended St. Christopher’s Elementary School. After graduation, she attended Countess Moore High School on Staten Island.
