Dora Zanzonico, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday April 14, 2023 at Dry Harbor Rehabilitation Center, where she was recovering from a recent hospitalization. Dora was born on September 9th, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, to Sebastian and Gaetana Platania. She grew up with her four siblings, and met her cherished husband Torino “Toby” Zanzonico there. They were married on April 28, 1956, raised four children, and spent more than 40 happy years traveling the world together. Dora and Toby were also active in the Catholic Church until Toby’s passing in January 2000. In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, daughter, aunt, and friend, Dora was a devout Catholic and went to a daily mass. Giuseppe was born to Rosario and Caterina Oteri in Messina, Italy. He grew up with 10 brothers and sisters on a farm. Setting his sights on new horizons, he joined the Italian army and served as a photographer during World War II.  Upon his return from the war, he met his future wife Domenica Coppola, whom he married six months later. They
