In Montgomery County, young children who are grieving the death of their loved one had a fun and memorable day at Camp Charlie in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Camp Charlie, a program that has been running for 10 years now, is a grief healing camp for children ages 6 to 12 who have lost a loved one. Run by Jefferson Health’s Safe Harbor, Camp Charlie offers a safe place for more than 50 grieving children. Volunteers who are former campers acted as facilitators during the event.
