What Do You Say to a Bereaved Person?

October 27, 2013

The last thing that you’d want to say to a grieving person is that “it’s alright.” It is not alright and the more that a person hears this, the more she/he would feel that other people don’t think much of the hardship and pain she’s going through.

The best way to make a person feel, if not better, less bereaved is by letting him/her know that you will always be there for support. Don’t be afraid to speak from your heart and tell them how you really feel.
