With profound love and deep sorrow, we remember Richard Terranova (1969–2026), a devoted father, son, brother, husband, and cherished friend whose life was defined by loyalty, strength, and an unwavering dedication to his family.

Born and raised on Staten Island, Richard was a proud South Beach native who carried his roots with him in everything he did. He was a devoted son who honored his family deeply. His mother, Mary Lou, often spoke of how much he reminded her of his father—not just in his strength and sense of responsibility, but also in his humor. She loved his quick wit, his ability to make everyone laugh, and the warmth he brought into every room. After the passing of his father, Richard naturally stepped into the role of patriarch—guiding, supporting, and holding his family together with quiet strength, responsibility, and unwavering presence.

Above all else, Richard was a family man. His greatest joy and proudest role was being a father to his four children—Richard, Anthony, Christina, and Victoria. He shared a special bond with each of them, showing up fully in their lives in ways that mattered most. With his two sons, he spent countless hours hunting, using that time to teach, guide, and build lasting bonds. With his daughters, Richard could always be found on the soccer fields—watching, encouraging, supporting, and celebrating them with pride. Whether on the sidelines or behind the scenes, he was their constant supporter, never missing a moment and always believing in them.

Richard shared a deep and enduring bond with his wife, Lisa, who stood faithfully by his side until his final moments. Their partnership was built on love, commitment, and resilience, and she remained his constant source of strength throughout his life.

Richard was also a loving brother, deeply connected to his sisters, Marisa and Linda, and to his extended family, carrying his role with the same sense of protection, care, and devotion that defined all of his relationships.

To his children, Richard was a guide, protector, and role model. To his family, he was steady and dependable. To his friends, he was loyal, genuine, and always present when it mattered most. He lived with quiet integrity and showed his love through action, consistency, and unwavering devotion.

Richard Terranova leaves behind a powerful legacy of love, leadership, humor, and family that will continue through his children, his sisters, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be remembered with deep respect, missed beyond measure, and held forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
