A man was inspired to start a business through his dog’s death.
Douglas Rea, a carpenter since the age of 16, has founded a business on making caskets after his pet dog died. He tried looking for a suitable casket for his buddy’s remains online but found that he couldn’t afford any of them so he decided to build one on his own. Though he still ended up having his pet cremated, the experience opened up a business opportunity for him.
