Koltchak, Parker Lily

November 13, 2017

Parker Koltchak, 15—Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn
Parker Lily Koltchak, 15, left us unexpectedly on November 10, 2017.  The beloved daughter of Deborah Capone and  Alexander Koltchak was born at New York University Hospital and lived in Brooklyn her entire life. She was a sophomore at Oldfields School in Maryland.
Parker was the loved and admired older sister of Rory and Hudson Koltchak; cherished granddaughter of Louis and Gale Capone of Port Jefferson, Long Island, and Françoise Von Dwingelo, of Seattle, WA; dear niece of Nicole Capone, Kim Heriza, Bruce Pfeifer, Sophie and Emmett Pritchard, and Marie Koltchak; fun-loving cousin of James and Jordyn Capone; Kaitlyn and Jake Pfeifer, Celeste Pritchard and Cooper Py; and a great friend to many.
Parker will be remembered as lightening in a bottle—brimming with creative energy and brilliant promise. Whether she was playing the ukulele, writing poetry, performing on stage, or simply drawing, her artist spirit was undeniable. Parker loved the ocean—Montauk and Fire Island especially—and was always up for adventure. At the same time, she was just as passionate about social causes. Her steadfast belief in human rights as well as her bravery in the face of personal trials will not be forgotten.

Wanted to send our deepest sympathies to you and your family
at this most difficult time. Grace Vernarelli is my daughter
who goes to Oldfields and is a day student . Grace always talked about how sweet
Parker was and talented . Grace had just seen her preform at Oldfields in the play They
in some classes last year but not this year but Grace
spoke of how nice she was and I would see Parker when I dropped off Grace.
I will always remember Parkers beautiful smile and the energy that
surrounded her . I sat with you one parents visitation day
last year and we talked over coffee . I remember how excited we were that the girls
met. I just want you to know that we will miss
Parker terribly and she will remain in our hearts .
The Oldfields community is always here for you and your family . We will be praying for
healing for you and your family
