Last night, I re-read the hundreds of Face Book messages that my cousin Johnny sent me over the years.It was always a delight to read his uplifting, caring comments. I will miss them, and him very much. One particularly poignant one was about his planning his funeral, so that his much loved Charles and Roni would not have that burden. It is so moving that visitation and his funeral mass will be at Sacred Hearts-St. Stephen Church. He loved that place and talked about it often. I am traveling today. I only wish that I could be there for this final end-off. I know the music will be playing, and John will be singing when he enters through those pearly gates and is reunited with his family in heaven.
