Hosted by Mayo Clinic Hospice, the Healing Adventures Camp brings together young children who have experienced death of a loved one. The goal of the camp is to gather the children and help them connect with other kids who have also experience loss and grief.
According to Amy Stelpflug, a volunteer coordinator, various games and physical activities will be facilitated during the camp. Through music, crafts, sharing circles and nature walks throughout the day, children will be able to share their stories and feelings with each other.
