In a French documentary on the Israeli forces versus Palestinian gunmen battle in 2000, they feature a father and his son caught in between the battle, both looking very helpless. The documentary also implies that the two individuals were shot, and the son killed, by the Israeli troops.
Just recently, Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, expressed his disapproval of the said documentary and demanding that the French correct the information regarding the boy’s death. Israelis also argue that there was no proof that Israeli forces did shoot the two individuals.
