When faced with the death of a friend or a loved one, various feelings come into play such as anger, denial, depression and eventually acceptance. However, according to experts, there are also other emotions that might appear during such unspeakable moment and these too can be unexpected and uncomfortable.

  1. Relief- feeling free of worry after experiencing grief.
  2. Emptiness- it is when a person wonders if anyone can ever fill the empty space.
  3. Helplessness- feelings of helplessness since someone important to us is no longer there to perform his role in our life.
