Eleanor D’Ambrosia was the loving wife of Michael for more than 65 years, married September 19, 1959. She was a public-school assistant, but more importantly a dedicated wife, homemaker, mom, and grandmother (Meme). Eleanor is survived by her husband Michael, sons Michael and Steven and his wife Vanessa, her two cherished granddaughters Ashley and Olivia, her 100-year-old sister Jean, and many others from her extended family.
Eleanor was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived her entire adult life in a cozy home in the Bath Beach section of Brooklyn where she raised her two children and hosted intimate family gatherings. Eleanor was a world-class chef, artfully crafting home cooked Italian food including hearty meals, delicious desserts, and amazing holiday cookies. Her warm, kindhearted nature made her home a source of comfort, where friends and family were welcomed openly and always treated with special meals, affection, and animated conversation around the dining room table.
She treasured her neighborhood in Brooklyn, where she had friends and family nearby for decades. Eleanor fought bravely against cancer, and her persistence is admired by all. Her loved ones will always affectionately remember the bright smile across the face of this peppy Italian Americanwoman.

Rest in peace Eleanor. Will miss you 😘 🙏🏻 ❤️
