Dimitrios “Jimmy” Tsaropoulos, 73, of Brooklyn, passed away on August 27, 2024. Born on April 29, 1951, in Athens, Greece, Dimitrios immigrated to the United States, where he built a loving and fulfilling life.
At the age of 14 he began his career of working on ships. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, known for his unwavering dedication to his family. A humble and hardworking individual, Dimitrios exemplified resilience and integrity throughout his life.
Dimitrios cherished the quality time spent with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy. He also enjoyed his daily ritual of having coffee with friends, where he shared stories and forged deep connections.
He is survived by his loving family, including Eva, George, Sotiroula, Oswaldo, Nicholas, Alexander, and many other family members living in Greece who will miss him dearly.
Dimitrios spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he Rest in Peace. Amen.
