People cope with the loss of a loved one in different ways.Caregivers whose loved ones are suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease may experience different negative feelings, which may include the following: grief, anticipatory grief, loss, ambiguous loss, and emotions.

Here are some tips for caregivers on dealing with the aforementioned:
  • Find a harmless way to express your feelings and emotions.
  • Make time for yourself each day and consider your personal needs.
  • Do your best and focus on the positives.
