She was a beloved mother to her daughter Denise and her late son Frank, who sadly passed in 2015. She was a loving grandmother to Joseph and loved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was an amazing lady.  She

Carolyn Elizabeth Demarest (ret.) and William Robert Gold.  Alex graduated from Manhattan Friends Seminary and attended SUNY Morrisville College and Alfred University.  He was a computer engineer with a ready smile and infectious laugh that went hand-in-hand with his playful spirit. He is survived by his parents; his children Caelan, Ronen, Aidan, Logan and Arianna Gold; his sister Rachel Demarest Gold, and his brother Joshua Demarest Gold.

On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, Simon L. Rodriguez, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend passed away at the age of 50 in Land o’ Lakes, FL. Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 15, 1972 to Heriberto (Eddie) and Margarita Rodriguez, he was proud to say he lived his whole life in the “greatest city in the world”. Simon started his schooling in Red Hook at PS 15 and proudly earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Advertising and Marketing Communications from Bernard M. Baruch College in New York. When Ikea came to Brooklyn, Simon helped open the store and over the years refused all offers of promotion, instead putting his talents to work in the Quality department, forging many long time friendships with his coworkers. Devoted wife of the late Domenico Ruggiero, beloved mother of Carmine Cathy, Matthew, Millie and Vinny. Mother-in-law of Alexandria, the late Aldo, Lenny and Karyn.
