Antonio Mancuso, a devoted husband, beloved father, cherished grandfather, and master carpenter, passed away peacefully at his home in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, on October 18, 2025, at the age of 87.
Born and raised in the heart of Militello in Val di Catania and then migrated at just 21 years old to Bensonhurst Brooklyn. Antonio was a proud hard working man who never strayed far from his roots. With skilled hands and a tireless work ethic, he built a life centered around family, craftsmanship, and tradition. For over five decades, Antonio worked as a carpenter, known throughout the borough for his meticulous attention to detail and the warmth he brought to every project. Whether restoring his loved one’s houses for loved ones, or working on 30 foot scaffolds, his work was always done with pride and purpose.
Antonio was the devoted husband of Angela Mancuso, his beautiful wife of 66 years. Their love story was one of unwavering partnership and love a bond that was admired by all who knew them.
Together, they raised three children who were the pride of Antonio’s life. He was a loving and supportive father, always quick with advice and a helping hand. His six grandchildren were the lights of his later years, always making sure they had everything and more.
Antonio’s legacy is one of hard work, strong values, and endless love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
