Alexander Demarest Gold, 47, passed away January 9th in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He was born August 27, 1975, in New York City to the Hon. Carolyn Elizabeth Demarest (ret.) and William Robert Gold.
Alex graduated from Manhattan Friends Seminary and attended SUNY Morrisville College and Alfred University.
He was a computer engineer with a ready smile and infectious laugh that went hand-in-hand with his playful spirit.
He is survived by his parents; his children Caelan, Ronen, Aidan, Logan and Arianna Gold; his sister Rachel Demarest Gold, and his brother Joshua Demarest Gold.

I wanted to offer my condolences for your loss. I worked with Alex and we talked daily. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was a friend and a co-worker and he will be missed.
