Salvatore, 83, was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. He was born in Monte di Procida, Naples, Italy and migrated to Brooklyn, New York as a young man in 1959 with his family. He had a long career as a longshoreman. He had a love of traveling to his home country, Italy during the summer months. He enjoyed gardening and being thrifty. Family time was so important to him and if he gave you his time, you knew he loved you. He was a devoted fan of the New York Mets and had the game on TV any chance he got. He is predeceased by his siblings, Biagio, Rosanna, Michael, Angelina, and Bruno. He is survived by his wife, Letizia Colandrea, daughter Donna Palermo and her husband Tony; son Michael Colandrea and his wife Sheri; sons Anthony Colandrea, Jerry Colandrea and fiancé Lisa Colozzo; daughter Enrica Colandrea and her husband Anthony Pagliughi; and survived by his six grandchildren, Katie, Laura, Elizabeth, Andrea, Anthony and August. He is also survived by his siblings, Melania, Giuseppina, Maria, Frank, Veronica.
