In hopes of trying to help children cope with loss of a loved one, Camp Good offered a free camp to children who have recently lost their grandparents, friends, siblings and parents.
Through group sessions intermixed with games and activities, campers are taught of the different relaxation techniques that will help them feel more relaxed and at ease. During the camp, they will also learn how to solve problems and handle their emotions. With the various activities involved, the young children will learn what they can do with the good and bad memories of the person they lost.
