  3. Dear Philip, we met under the saddest and tragic of circumstances. I was your nurse when you were brought into the ER. While you and I never spoke, I came to know you through your beautiful family and friends. I learned that you were a chef, went to Johnson and Wales, worked at Todd English, and even worked as a chef when the Yankees played the Redsox. Your dear sweet father told me you were going to see Pope Francis when he comes to NY. With tears in his eyes your dad talked about your faith. I think your faith gave your dad strength on that terrible day he lost you. He also took credit for your love of cooking!! Proud dad. Philip, when the pope arrived in the US I thought of you. You were a wonderful young man! And boy oh boy do you have a lot of friends!! They were all in the ER and so very sad. You will be missed tremendously by so many. You touched my life in a way you will never know and I am proud to have held your hand as you transitioned from this life to the next. I know you will be there for your dear mom and dad and sisters. Give them the strength they need at this time. With love, Teri Freeman

  4. The impact of your friendship to those you left behind, do to your untimely diparture from this world will never be forgotten. May your eternal spirit be at peace and may you watch over your, friends and family. Guide them as they face the good and hardships of life. Until we meet again my brother. R.I.P
