Grief and all the emotions that come along with it are normal parts of bereavement. Feeling empty or depressed during this time may not be entirely negative — it may mean that the person is undergoing some inner healing, and the feeling of lightness and relief will come after.
Anger, fear and a whole lot of other mixed feelings are also common in bereavement. But, every bereaved individual should know that suppressing these feelings isn’t a path to recovery.
