
According to an article on AL.com, “objects represent the loved one we lost and take on special meaning.” This is why finding an object previously owned by a deceased loved one may trigger feelings of grief, guilt and other emotions which were thought to have already passed.
Rev. Carl Malm, director of The Center for Loss, Grief, and Change, has dedicated his life to helping individuals overcome bereavement. This winter, he is leading a workshop on surviving grief starting Feb. 5 through March 12 at Brookdale Place Jones Farm.
