Helping Your Child Deal with Loss

You can't protect your kids from the pain of loss, but you can help them recover in a healthy way.Grief may come as somewhat different for children. If you are concerned about the way your child deals with the experience of loss, here are five children’s book that may be of great help for the two of you:

  • Heaven is for Real for Kids as told by Colton Burpo
  • Samantha Jane’s Missing Smile by Julie Kaplow and Donna Pincus
  • What is Heaven Like? by Beverly Lewis
  • The Invisible String by Patrice Karst
