Bradley & Son Funeral Homes in Chatham and a new Jersey center for coping with loss, Imagine, will be hosting “Helping Adolescents Cope with Loss,” a live webcast part of the Hospice Foundation of America’s National Living with Grief Program. This program aims to keep all concerned and interested individuals – teachers, clergymen, parents, etc. – informed when it comes to helping teenagers cope with loss or death.
“Participants will explore the developmental context of adolescence; different adolescent encounters with death and the ways each may affect their development; and how different systems such as family, schools and counselors may help adolescents cope with loss.” says Scott Bradley, Managing Partner and Owner of Bradley Funeral Homes.
