Most police officers still find work after they retire. Many find work that has something to do with security. But police officers in New Jersey are finding work in a different line — the funeral industry.
According to an article from newjerseynewsroom.com, “Along with using prior connections, retired officers also greet mourners at the door when they arrive at a funeral home, serve as pallbearers, drive hearses, and help to remove the deceased from where they died.”
