A website has recently published findings on the impact of the funeral industry on the environment.
According to an article from finance.dailyherald.com, “Statistics based on consumption from the United States alone includes over 800,000 gallons of Formaldehyde annually, casket wood that could build 4.6 million homes, and enough fossil fuel used in cremation to drive a car halfway to the sun every year.”
