Some people believe that the funeral industry is dying a slow death. But a new survey on the merger of two industry giants has revealed that many insiders also see it as something negative. At the same time, these insiders would also like to acquire other funeral companies themselves.
This contraction is being fueled by the gradually improving economy.
According to Beth Fitzgerald for the njbiz.com, “Profitability; the continued growth in cremation; and the public’s increased desire for nontraditional, low-cost funerals were the top concerns.”
