Professional hockey player Dominic Moore is set to play again with the New York Rangers after taking a season off.
Moore took time off from playing in order to take care of his wife who was suffering from a rare form of cancer; she passed away early this year. He has expressed his sadness over his wife’s passing but was also happy that they were able to spend time together. It was both a memorable and a profoundly sad period for him.
According to Jeff Z. Klein for the New York Times, “Moore, who lives in Boston (he and his wife attended Harvard), stayed in shape by skating and cross-training with the Harvard tennis team. “
