Funeral Services Set for Late Hawaii SenatorFuneral services have already been set for the late Hawaii Senator Daniel Inouye, with viewing scheduled at the US Capitol and then to be followed by national and local services.
The services would begin with Senator Inouye lying in state at the Capitol rotunda at 10 AM on Thursday EST. Visitations are allowed from 11:30 AM to 8 PM EST.
For the first funeral service, it would be held at the National Cathedral on Friday, 10:30 AM EST. The final memorial service to be held in Hawaii is going to be at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl on Sunday at 10 AM HST.
In the US Senate, a day after the senator passed away, his desk had a black cloth draped over it, as well as Hawaiian ceremonial kukui nut beads and is also adorned with white roses contained within a vase.
