Child Bereavement, Things Parent Must Keep in Mind

When a loved one dies, particularly someone who has been significant and close to a child, parents usually get a difficult time making him or her understand and accept the person’s departure. That’s why parents should be more responsible and caring when it comes to considering their child’s emotions towards the matter.

It is often a question of whether children should be taken the funeral of a loved one or not. In a survey of British social attitudes, majority believe that it is not appropriate  to allow them to take part in the said event. However, some experts believe that the ritual can actually help a child in his or her bereavement process.
